Is the effect real?
Yes. The lenses carry a microscopic engraving that splits light, so every point of light takes the shape of your effect in rainbow colours. It is physics, not a filter, and you see it with your own eyes.
Does the effect show up on camera?
Yes. Hold your phone lens against the glasses and record. The effect shows up on video exactly as you see it, with no AI and no editing. Every video on this site was filmed that way.
Do they work during the day?
The effect needs points of light in the dark, so it really shines at night. During the day they work like regular tinted glasses.
Which effects come in which frame?
Heart and Star come in black, pink and red frames. Supernova comes in black and clear. Music Note and Moon come in black.
What are they made of?
A lightweight polycarbonate frame and lenses, comfy for a whole night out.
Can I wear them while driving?
No. These are visual effect glasses for parties, not protective sunglasses. Do not wear them while driving or doing anything that needs clear vision.
Orders and shipping
How much is shipping?
We ship from Portugal with CTT. In Portugal it is €5.80 for 1 pair and €7.80 for 2 or more. To the rest of Europe, including the UK, it is €7.90 for 1 pair and €8.90 for 2 or more, and to the rest of the world €7.90 and €10.90. Every order ships by registered mail with tracking, and you see the final cost at checkout before you pay. Outside Europe, delivery usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. Outside the EU, import taxes may apply.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled securely by Shopify. You see every payment method available for your country at checkout.
When will my order ship?
The first batch is packed by hand and ships from 2 November, every pair with its numbered Founding Member card. You get an email with your tracking number as soon as it ships.
Can I return them?
Yes. You have 14 days after delivery to return your order. For orders outside the EU, import taxes, duties and customs fees are paid by the customer and are not refundable, and return shipping is at the customer's cost. If anything is wrong with your order, message us first on Instagram, TikTok or by email and we'll sort it out with you.
Launch
When do they drop?
On 27 October. Join the list on the home page to get the alert and your code before anyone else.
How does the launch price work?
The first 20 pairs are €19.99 with code CHROMYRA20. "Buy now" applies it for you. The code works on one pair per order, once per customer.
What is the Founding Member card?
The first 100 buyers get a numbered physical Founding Member card, shipped with their glasses, plus access to private groups on Instagram and WhatsApp and a direct say in what Chromyra does next.
